Reno Omokri, who is a pastor and also in the fore front of free Leah Sharibu campaign is at it again.
This time around, he is advising his fellow pastors to stop living luxurious life while their members are living in poverty, because God also is not poor.
See his words;
“As a pastor, you should prove that your God is not poor by ensuring that there are no poor members in your congregation, because the Church looks after them. Don’t prove that your God is rich by amassing wealth for yourself and living in extreme luxury. This is what the word of God says, ” There were no needy among them. Those who owned lands would sell for distribution to anyone in need”.- Acts 4:34-35.
By virtue of the above, no man of God should live in luxury, while his members live in poverty. I pastored in Abuja. Some of my members are here ( please testify). I practice what I am preaching.
