Biography
Uche hails from Abiriba in Abia State Nigeria, and she was born on December 28, 1979.
Where did Uche Jumbo studied?
After her primary and Secondary Education, Uche Jumbo proceeded to the University of Calabar where she studied Mathematics and Statistics, and later on she went for an additional qualification, which made her enroll in the Federal University of Technology, Minna where she studied Computer programming. And this made Uche Jumbo,, a double degree holder.
Is Uche Jumbo married?
Uche Jumbo got married to her Puerto Rican heart rob, Kenny Rodriguez, on May 12, 2012. The marriage is blessed with a son, Chinedu Mathew Rodriguez. Though it was later rumoured that the couple have parted ways, but there was no verifiable information to prove that.
Career
In a post she shared on her Instagram handle, Uche Jumbo made it clear that 2019 marked it 20 years of her acting career, that is, she started acting in 1999. Her first debut in Nollywood was a film titled ” visa to hell”.
Today,,Uche jumbo can boast of having over 200 films as an actress, over 30 films as a screen writer, over 30 films as an executive director, and 6 films as a director.
In order to give back to the industry that made her whom she is, Uche Jumbo started her own studio, named Uche Jumbo studios.

Uche has won notable awards such as; 4th African Movie Academy awards as the best supporting actress, City people Entertainment award as the best actress, African Film International festival as the as the best actress leading role, Golden Icon movie Award as the best on Screen etc.
In 2011,Globacom Telecommunication Company made Uche Jumbo their brand ambassadors. She is also among the Ambassadors on New Nation project, Dukwe headquarters in Port Harcourt.
The actress also has her own NGO, Uche Jumbo and you, which aims at giving help to the less privileged in the society.
