Di’ja(Aphrodija) is the pretty Mavin Record singer. Di’ ja is not just her full name, but a combination of her two names “Hadiza” and “Khadija”. She is also known as the Princess of Mavin’s, or you can simply call her ” Doroprincess”. Dija is multi talented, she is a singer, songwriter, humanitarian and also an Ambassador. Dija is a beauty to behold and always have a shining appearance with her beaming smiles.

Dija’s real name is Hadiza Salma Blell. Dija was born in Kaduna State in Nigeria. She was born on 14th of August. Her father is a Sierra Leonean while her mother is from Kaduna state in Nigeria. She has lived in several countries such as Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Canada and United States of America. Di’ ja has joint degree in Biology and Psychology.
Husband and Children
In the year 2015,Dija got married to her heart rob, Rotimi, in a secret wedding, and the engagement ceremony took place in Kaduna state. The marriage is blessed with two children, a boy and a girl. Di’ ja likes to keep her marriage and family life private, not until recently that her family pictures started surfacing online.
Career
According to Di’ ja, when she started planning her music career, she didn’t convince her parents at first. But due to the fact that she was away from home(Canada), she was doing it. Her brother encouraged her, and one of her friends put her in a competition comprising of about 200 participants, Beat Music Award, and this was her first time appearing in a large, although she thought she didn’t perform well, but to her greatest surprise, she won the competition.
In 2008, Di’ja came to limelight when she performed as one of the opening singers for Akon’s performance at the 49th Independence Anniversary Celebration. Dija released her first music titled “Rock steady” which was nominated for Best Urban Reggae and Blues at the Canadian Music and Radio Awards in
2009.
In 2012, Di’ ja released her singles which includes “How can we be friends”, Hold on (Ba Damuwa) etc.
Meeting Don jazzy
For Dija, she met Don jazzy when she felt like going away from Music. He met Don jazzy through his manager when he came to Lagos, and the manager informed her that they are going to see a producer, and they finally landed in Don jazzy’s house. According to her, after Don Jazzy listened to her songs, she called her the next day. From there, she met Reekado and Koredo Bello and they started working together.
Di’ ja finally signed a record deal with Don Jazzy’s record in 2014. She released her first official single titled ” Yaro” that same year. Also in May, 2014, Dija was featured in the song titled “Dorobucci” along with label mates; Don Jazzy, Dr Sid, Tiwa Savage, Reekado, Koredo Bello, and D’Prince. She featured on a song titled “Arise” with Donjazzy and Reekado.
In December 2017, she extended her music which she called Aphrodija, which also features Tiwa Savage and Reekado Banks.
