BigBrother Naija season 5 officially started on Sunday 19th July, 2020. It is worthy to note that due to the current covid-19 outbreak, strict measures were taken to ensure that the housemates were free from it. They were all quarantined for two weeks before being allowed to enter the Big Brother house. This year’s Big Brother show is termed “Lockdown” and therefore the housemates are known as “Lockdown” housemates.
