You may have been hearing people saying that “with God nothing is impossible” and you are wondering what this actually means. Well, from ages to ages, God has been known as the supreme God who has the power to do anything that he wants to do. It is also clearly written in the Bible that nothing is difficult for him to do. Mathew 19:26 ” But Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossibe, but with God all things are possible.” He is the creator, the author, maker, and the finisher of all things. Isaiah 40:28 “Do you know? Have you heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary and his understanding, no one can fathom.” God’s authority and influence is unlimited, that is why he is called the omnipotence God. God is the all powerful God who has created all things and sustains them by the power of his word. Genesis 1:3 “And God said,”Let there be light,” and there was light.”
With God nothing is Impossible – Meaning
Since God is the creator of the universe, he has ultimate control over all things, therefore, “what he cannot do does not exist.” He created human beings and fashions them in such a way that they appeals to him. He has the power over life and death. God knows everything from eternity past to eternity future. He has a superior universal knowledge and wisdom. Psalm 139:2-4 “You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways. Before a word is on my tongue, you know it completely O Lord.” God is everywhere and with us at all times. There is no place without God and there no place beyond him. His universal presence encompasses all creation. 2 Chronicles 6:18 “But will God really dwell on earth with men? The heavens, even the highest heavens, cannot contain you. How much less this temple I have built!
What does this mean to you?
This simply implies that there is nothing the Lord cannot do for you. There is no situation that is greater than him and the good news is that he is a loving God for in him, there is no hate. He loves us to the extent of sending his only begotten son Jesus Christ to die for the sins of the world. John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that he gave his only son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” For us to be a partaker of God’s endless blessings, we need to walk in his ways and always trust and obey. There is no situation or life challenges that is impossible before God. We need to also understand that God timing and ours may not be the same, he knows the right time to grant us our requests and he also knows what is good for us. What is that troubling or giving you sleepless nights? Is it sickness, poverty, academic breakthrough, bareness, prosperity in your business or any other form of trouble and tribulation? Communicate it to God, for with him, there is no impossiblity and everything is just possible. He has done it before, he will still do it again, your own case will not be different. He is unchangeable and therefore, he will not see you and change. God is the unchangeable changer who can move mountains and also raise the dead.
