Best Psalms for Anxiety – Growing up, I was fond of worrying a lot, I think about a lot of things which always keeps me unhappy and also weighs me down. I realized that the more I get worried, the more the level of my worries increased. It was later accompained with fear, in my mind, I conceived about a lot of negative thoughts which most times, do not happen. My problems were really overexaggerated. That was what led me to seek for help until I come across these Psalms for calming anxiety from the Scriptures.
I discovered that anxiety does not set tommorow free of it’s sorrows. As long as you allow fear to take the lead, you will never go where God wants to take you to. The scriptures made me to understand that God will help you to confront and conquer the fear that is controlling you. When God is the source of your strength, you can face your worst fears and overcome them. Fear only lets you indulge yourself for a while in flights of wishful thinking. Don’t let fear to defeat you, don’t let fear rob you of your potential, don’t also let it make you become smaller than you are. Believe God for great things, then step out and attempt to do them in his strength. If you do you will succeed.
