The news of the separation of One of Nigerian Celebrity couple, Paul Okoye and wife came as a ‘rude shocker’ to many. Paul Okoye is one of the duo in the defunct Psquare group who later changed his stage name to Rude boy. Paul Okoye and Wife, Anita Okoye recently celebrated their 7 years marriage anniversary with the marriage being blessed with three children.
The couple whose love journey started from the University of Abuja, dated for 9 years before sealing their union. It came as a surprise because no one who sees their beautiful family photos could ever think that a day like this will come when the couples will no longer be referred to as husband and wife.
After their divorce papers leaked online, information gathered revealed that the couples have been having issues in their marriage which at this point seems to be irreconcilable and hence the reason for the divorce. Anita Okoye filed for the divorce. Though separated, it was also gathered that the duo will be co-parenting and continue to be friends with each other. Anita Okoye is currently in the United States where she is completing her Master’s degree while Peter Okoye has not made any official announcement to this effect.
