Tribute to My Late Father – I lost my lovely Dad on the 25th of December. It pained me so much because I have traveled down to celebrate the festive period with him. Though he was sick, but I never expected it so soon. His death really changed the whole of me because he was so humorous and fun to be with. He took care of all of us and make sure to hear from us at all times. This was a great blow to all of my siblings including my Mom whom he was not only a husband to but also her best friend. It took me a lot of courage to pen down this emotional tribute to my Late Father because I can’t still come to terms that he is no more. A tribute to my father in heaven is my way of pouring out my heart on how I feel about him and his departure.

I can’t believe that you are no more
Dad, the news of your sudden departure came as a rude shock to me. You were sick I know, but I don’t know that sickness came to take you away from us. Your words of encouragement and motivation still lives in me. You gave us a lot of unforgettable memories that makes me to always like to stay in your company. You go extra miles to put food on our table. Your death is one thing that is so hard for me to believe. Dad, it was my prayer that you live Longer to reap the fruits of all your labour. I still think am dreaming and yet to wake up from it. Thanks so much for leaving unremovable footprints and legacies for all. Rest in Peace my Lovely Dad. I can’t believe that you are more.
Gone so soon, but still lives in my heart forever
You may have departed from this earth, but you still lives in my heart. Dad, it pains me realizing that I will no longer behold that your ever smiling face again. You are man of truth who respects all but fears none. Everyone around you can testify that you can go extra miles to rescue the oppressed. The only people that dislikes you are those that are afraid of hearing the truth. I’m proud to call you my father because you directed us to the right path. You made us to know that there is time for everything on earth. May your soul continue to rest in peace. Gone so soon, but still lives in my heart forever.

Dad, if tears can bring you back, then, you will be definitely here with us. I now understand that we are truly visitors in this world, when the appointed time comes, we will depart. Though death is inevitable, I wish to stay forever with you. Mom can no longer hold her tears back, we are trying as much as possible to control her. You are a wonderful father who was not only a father to us, but a father to all. Your kindness earned you a lot of friends both far and near. Your departure has left a large vacuum in me that no one else can feel. Coming back home and realizing that you won’t be there is something that still breaks my heart. May your soul find peace in the Lord. Adieu, my father, my hero.

Dad, penning down this tribute to you is one of the things that I find so difficult to do. I can’t believe that you are no more. Thank you so much for instilling the fear of God in us. You are someone who doesn’t joke with things that will go contrary to your belief in God. You went ahead to let all your children realize the importance of serving God and obeying his commands. I believe that God will show his mercy upon you and forgive you of all your shortcomings. Your time on earth was short-lived, but I believe that it is not how long but how well. May you continue to rest in the Bossom of the Lord and may you find peace with your maker. Rest in Peace Daddy till we meet to part no more.

Your death really changed my life. It made me to understand that God’s timings and ours are not the same. You struggled so hard to live but finally death blew it’s final whistle. Dad, you are a true definition of a hero. You fought so hard to achieve all your aims. You don’t like to lose that’s why you are always a winner. I have more than a million questions to ask about your departure but my heart still tells me that God knows more than we do. I’m super proud of having you as my father. You lived a life Worthy of emulation. God will reward you abundantly for all your good deeds and forgive you of all your sins.
