If you are a “Chivido” fan, I Know you have been waiting to hear this good news. Congratulations are in order as Davido completes the payment of Chioma’s Bride Price in Nkwerre LGA in Imo State. The couple who recently lost their son, Ifeanyi, has been on and off from social media since then. However, their latest appearance together was during the time that Davido went to perform in Qatar 2022 world cup.
After the death of their son, it was speculated that Davido completed Chioma’s Bride Price then, however, close sources revealed that according to the tradition of Chioma’s people, certain aspect of the bride price rites has to be done before the child will be buried and which they did then. There are also unconfirmed rumours that the duo has done their court wedding.
According to blogger SDK;
“Singer Davido has finally paid Chioma’s Bride Price (Umunna) in full at Nkwolu Ezeala Ofu in Nkwerre Local Government Area of Imo State.“
In the photos posted online, Chioma’s Dad could be seen performing the Umunna and Umuada rites.
