The Lagos fashion week 2024 has really showcased unforgettable fashion styles so far from the African fashion industry. The event which started on October 23rd is expected to end on October 27th. With the theme COMMUNE, the various fashion displayed so far revealed epitome of elegance and modern sophistication. The brands that walked the runway so far left lasting impressions with their various fashion statements. At the end of this show, we are hopeful that fashion designers in Nigeria and Africa beyond would have learnt a lot that will greatly improve the African Fashion industry.
Here, we are focused on a fashion brand with unique fashion statements known as Imad Eduso. This brand featured a unique style known as Laba Laba, which means butterfly in Yoruba in the LFW 2024. According to the brand owners, it was inspired by the delicate metamorphosis of butterfly. The dress styles were made with intricate laser cut butterflies with shimmering fabrics. Most were designed with layered fabrics made specially for the bold and confident women. The gorgeous butterfly silhouettes is a unique feature of this fashion designs. We are glad that butterfly designed fabrics are coming back to style. Shimmering fabrics designs are unique in the sense that it makes you to stand out from the crowd.
