The Red Sea International Film Festival for the year 2024 is taking place in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The event will run from 5th to 14th December. It will see in attendance celebrities, film enthusiasts, film makers and other guests from all walks of life. The red carpet for the opening ceremony was graced with captivating fashion styles, adding great glamour to the event. Yes, Nollywood industry was not left out as the iconic actress, Ini Edo, represented the industry in the show. Ini Edo made a remarkable appearance with her stunning outfit.
The actress dazzled in her floor- sweeping long black gown made by the great fashion stylist, Swanky Jerry. The turtle-neck design of the gown framed her face with an effortless elegance. The fitted-long sleeve and the upper part of the dress is made with an intricate transparent lace adding a great touch of sultry sophistication. The funnel sleeve which started at the wrist added a captivating look to the dress style. The downward part of dress featured a layered fish-tail train also with intricate lace design at the end of each layer creating a breathtaking red carpet silhouette. She equally complimented her look with a matching black head scarf. Ini Edo really made an unforgettable appearance to the red carpet event.
She expressed her excitement in partaking in the event with a post which she shared on her wall;
“It’s 2024 red Sea film opening night. Pulling out here in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia representing the Nollywood industry. An industry built on love and passion, blood, sweat and tears….From our early DVD home days to global recognition standing toe to toe with our counterparts in other parts of the world. The exciting conversations about the future of our industry and the sheer amazement of being recognized by the people we used to and still look up to. I am proud of every single person contributing to the growth of our industry. We will continue to thrive, soar and tell our indigenous stories till we take our rightful place in the world of film making.
