Amazon prime which is the global streaming subscription service with 200 million members worldwide and accessible in over 100 countries of the world recently launched it’s prime video in Nigeria. This means that Nigerians will be able to subscribe to the service using the local currency and would not require a VPN to access the content. On August 14, 2022, Prime video Naija hosted the country’s biggest stars and users at its first multi-sensory experience in EKo hotel and Suites, Nigeria. The event was hosted by Darey Now as host and had Alexa as the co-host.
