In April 2024, Funke Akindele announced the return of one of her most watched TV series, ‘Jenifa’ with a new title ‘Everybody Loves Jenifa’. According to her, it is a great movie to anticipate for as it is going to be thrilling, drama filled and entertaining. She is determined to make people happy and laugh in this season. The movie is set to be released on Cinemas starting from 13th December, 2024.

And shine they did! Get ready for the movie’s release in December.

Funke Akindele’s box office records shows that she has top 3 highest grossing Nigerian films. ‘A tribe called Judah’ released in the year 2023 beat so many records, most prominently emerging as the first movie to break the N1 Billion mark currently at N1.4 billion domestically. Her other movies such as ‘Battle on Buka Street ‘ released in 2022 raked N668 Million + while ‘Omo Ghetto: The Saga’ released in the year 2020 raked N636 Million +. Can she beat her last records this time around? We hope so!
