Mercy Johnson Okojie comes from Okene in Kogi State although she was born in Lagos State. She was born on August 28, 1984. The name of Mercy Johnson’s parents is Mr. Daniel Johnson and Mrs. Elizabeth Johnson (she lost her mum on May, 2018). Mercy was born to an average class family with her Dad being a naval officer. She grew up in a family of 7 as the fourth child.

Education

Due to the nature of Mercy Johnson Okojie Dad’s job, they were constantly transferred from one area to the other, therefore she started her education in Calabar and finished at Nigerian Navy Primary School in Lagos state. She attended Nigerian Navy Secondary School, Portharcourt ,Rivers State.

Growing up was not that easy for Mercy Johnson as she made mention of times when she drops out from school, did menial jobs and even sold pure water in order to make ends meet.

Marriage and Husband

In the year 2011, Mercy Johnson got married to her heart rob, Prince Odianosen Okojie who is a businessman and also a Royalty. The Marriage is blessed with three beautiful kids, two girls and one boy, who are; Purity Oebhajimente Okojie, Henry Ehizele Okojie and Angel Onosetale Okojie.

Career

Immediately after her Secondary Education, Mercy Johnson was auditioned for a role in the movie ‘The maid’ and she made an excellent performance in the movie that gave room for her popularity and further roles in the industry. The earlier movies she acted were Hustlers, Baby Oku in America, War in the Palace Etc.

Since then, Mercy Johnson Okojie has featured in over 170 movies.
