Fathia  Balogun Williams is among the popular actresses in Nollywood. She features mainly in Yoruba movies. Fathia is a highly talented actress, and she is not only an actress, but a producer, director and also an entrepreneur.

Biography

Fathia  Balogun Williams hails from Okpara, Delta State in Nigeria but she was born in Ikeja, Lagos State. She was born on February 5,1969. Fathia comes from a polygamous home and the name of her parents is Mr. and Mrs. Williams.

Education

Fathia Balogun Williams attended Maryland Primary School and also had her Secondary Education at Maryland Comprehensive Secondary School, all in Lagos State. She later proceeded to Kwara State Polytechnic where she obtained a Diploma Certificate.

Marriage and Husband

During the 1990’s, Fathia Balogun Williams got married to her heartrob, Saidi Balogun, and the marriage was blessed with 2 kids, a boy and a girl. Later, it was speculated that the couples have gone their separate ways, although Fathia debunked the rumors insisting that they are still together, to further complicate the rumor, on July 2019, Fathia Williams and her husband, Saidi Balogun acted closely together in a movie which was directed by Fathia Williams titled “The market place”, this further clarifies the rumor, and even if the couples are not together, they are still best of friends.

Career

Although Fathia Balogun Williams is a prosperous actress, that was not her first dream. After she couldn’t meet up with her dreams, she was fortunate to be featured by Alhaji Fatai Teniola. Since then, she has not only been a popular actress, but also a film producer and director.
