Rita Dominic is from the Waturuocha’s family, which is a Royal family. The actress parents were medical practicioners and they are late. She is the last child in the family of four.
Her Secondary Education took place at Federal Government College, Ikot Ekpene in Akwa Ibom state, and later she headed to university of Port Harcourt where she studied Theater Arts ( BA) in 1999.
Her movie career started when she took part in plays as a child, and later starred in her first movie, A time to kill.
In 2017, Rita Dominic was awarded the best Drama/TV for her role in “76” at the Africa Magic viewers choice Awards.
