The different challenges confronting us and our land can only be subdued and confronted by faith in God and with absolute dependence on his promises in the Holy Bible.
The power or miracles we receive by having faith in God can be found in the book of Mark 11: 22-23, ” Jesus answering said ‘ Have faith in God, I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, ” Go throw yourself into the sea, and does not doubt in his heart but believes that which he says, will happen, it will be done for him”.
In our land today, total dependence and faith in God will bring us freedom and deliverance. Instead of murmuring and complaining, we should seek the face of the Lord for deliverance and victory, believe and have faith that he can do it, then he will do it. According to the book of 2 Chronicles 20:1, Judah was confronted in battle by Moab, Ammon and other nations. 2 Chronicles 20:3-13, This challenge created great fear in Jehoshaphat, Israel’s king and he resolved to seek the face of God with all the people. Therefore, the word of God came through a prophet concerning the battle. The faith of Jehoshaphat in God and his word through the prophet led to Israelis victory in battle and the land was consequently freed.
Why don’t we do the same?
Subdue fear, rise in faith, hold on to the word of God and victory will be yours and our land.
