Last year October 2018, the story of Mr Ben Ogar and family, a family of five battling with mental illness and roaming the streets of Ogoja went viral. Their photos was first shared by a National Youth Service Corps member, Progress Oberiko.
Concerned citizens and NGO’s were eager to help,when later, the Federal Government intervened and they were sent to Federal Neuro Psychiatric hospital in Calabar where they were rescued and treated.
